Pancake for breakfast
9:07 AMBingung mo bikin sarapan & bekal nadine ke sekolah pagi ini, akhirnya pilihan jatuh ke bikin pancake ajah ... simple & cepet. Ngulik resep dari situs idola seperti biasa .. and it was the best waffle i've ever made ... enakkkk banget .. pas ajah rasanya di lidahku.
Aku copy-in setengah resep langsung yah, secara tadi pagi aku bikinnya cuma 1/2 resep ajah.
Best Buttermilk Pancakes
Makes nine 6-inch pancakes
The key to fluffy pancakes is not to overmix the batter; it should not be beaten smooth.
1 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
2 regular size eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/2 cups buttermilk (aku subtitute jadi 1 1/2 cup susu dikurangi 1 1/2 sdm and dicampur ama 1 1/2 sdm vinegar)
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (aku pake mentega biasa/blue band)
1. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar in a medium bowl. Add eggs, buttermilk, and 4 tablespoons butter, whisk to combine. Batter should have small to medium lumps.
2. Using a 4-ounce ladle, about 1/2 cup, pour pancake batter, in pools 2 inches away from one other. When pancakes have bubbles on top and are slightly dry around edges, about 2 1/2 minutes, flip over. Cook until golden on bottom, about 1 minute. (aku ngegorengnya pake wajan teflon yang ukuran paling kecil, dioles mentega cuma pas pertama kali ajah, selanjutnya enggak)
3. Repeat with remaining batter. Serve warm.
Note: Adonan aku tambahin kismis pas goreng-nya ... untuk pemanis & penambah rasa ajah :). Serving-nya aku pake siraman selai strawberry and potongan strawberry segar.
