My first cupcake
9:06 AMHari minggu kemarin Nadine minta dibikinin kue coklat untuk bekal ke sekolhah hari senin and kali ini pengen nyoba bikin cupcake secara udah kebeli loyang muffin di matahari beberapa minggu lalu. Resepnya so pasti ngulik dari situs ini and hasilnya ... hmm .. tidak mengecewakan. Bener2 gampang seperti judul resepnya :)
Easy Chocolate Cupcakes
Serves 12
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup sugar (aku kurangin jadi 200 gr ajah, takut kemanisan)
3 large eggs (aku pake 4 butir telur ukuran sedang)
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 cup sour cream (aku subtitute ama 1/2 cup plain yoghurt)
Easy White Icing*
Sprinkles (optional)
1. Preheat oven to 350F. Line 12-cup standard muffin tin with paper liners.
2. In a medium bowl, sift together cocoa, flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then beat in vanilla. Reduce speed to low. Add the flour mixture alternating with sour cream, starting and ending with the flour mixture.
3. Divide batter among cups, filling each 3/4 full. Bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 20 to 25 minutes. Cool 5 minutes in pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
*Easy White Icing
Makes 3 1/2 cups, enough for 12 standard cupcakes
1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
1 pound (3 2/3 cups) confectioners sugar
1 to 2 tablespoons milk (optional)
1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter until smooth.
2. Gradually add confectioners sugar; beat until smooth. If too thick to spread, beat in 1 to 2 tablespoons milk.
